How to Mine Bitcoin (BTC) on a Solo Mining Pool
This is a solo mining pool. Each miner competes independently for the full block reward. Whoever finds the block receives the reward directly in the coinbase transaction, minus the pool fee. With low hashrate, blocks may be infrequent — this is expected behaviour, not a malfunction. [Pool fee: 2%]
ASIC configuration
Any SHA-256 ASIC miner is compatible with this pool: Antminer S21/S21 XP/S23, Whatsminer M60/M66/M70/M79, Avalon A15/A16 and similar. Configuration is done from the miner's web interface.
Steps to configure your ASIC:
- Access your miner's web interface (local IP of the device, usually 192.168.x.x).
- Go to the pool configuration section (Pool Settings, Miner Configuration or similar).
- In Pool 1, enter the Stratum URL, your BTC address as the username, and any value as the password.
- Save the configuration. The miner will restart and begin mining.
SSL (encrypted)
stratum+ssl://btc.eu.ownblock.io:6161 TCP (standard)
stratum+tcp://btc.eu.ownblock.io:6262 YOUR_BTC_ADDRESS.WORKERYour Bitcoin address followed by .workername — e.g. 1AbC…xyz.rig1 or bc1q….rig1. The worker is optional but useful to identify the device.
xAny value — x is conventional.
Important: use only a standard Bitcoin address (P2PKH starting with 1, or P2WPKH starting with bc1q). Do not use an exchange address as your mining address — this ensures the coinbase goes directly to your wallet.
NiceHash
NiceHash is compatible with this pool using the SHA-256 with AsicBoost algorithm. When creating an order, use the host and port below with your BTC address as the username.
Enter these values in the NiceHash order form:
SHA256AsicBoostbtc.eu.ownblock.io 6262 YOUR_BTC_ADDRESS.workernameYour Bitcoin address followed by .workername — e.g. 1AbC…xyz.rig1
xAny value works — x is the conventional choice.
Important: use only a standard Bitcoin address (P2PKH starting with 1, or P2WPKH starting with bc1q). Do not use an exchange address as your mining address — this ensures the coinbase goes directly to your wallet.
⚠️ MiningRigRentals (MRR)
MiningRigRentals is compatible with this pool. However, some rigs on MRR may be NiceHash resellers — you may be paying a markup over NiceHash prices with added latency. We recommend using NiceHash directly when possible.
