Can I earn income from my computer's CPU with OwnBlock Earn?
Yes. With OwnBlock Earn, you can connect your computer's CPU and sell the valid RandomX hashrate it generates directly to OwnBlock. In return, you will receive the corresponding payment in XMR at the applicable rate.
How and when will I receive my OwnBlock Earn payments?
Payments are made in XMR directly to the Monero address you have configured. Once your accumulated balance reaches the applicable minimum payout threshold, OwnBlock will process the corresponding payment.
Will I still be paid if OwnBlock does not mine a block?
Yes. Your payment does not depend on OwnBlock successfully mining a block.
With OwnBlock Earn, you are paid for the valid RandomX hashrate you provide at the applicable rate. This means you will receive the corresponding remuneration for your valid work even if OwnBlock does not find a block during that period.
Will I be mining cryptocurrency with OwnBlock Earn?
Not directly. With OwnBlock Earn, you sell OwnBlock your CPU's processing capacity through the RandomX hashrate generated by your equipment.
Your remuneration is calculated based on the valid work you provide and the applicable rate, so it does not depend on your computer individually finding a block.
Can I connect and disconnect my computers whenever I want?
Yes. You decide when to connect or disconnect your equipment and how long you want to provide hashrate to OwnBlock Earn.
Bear in mind that OwnBlock Earn has loyalty levels that can improve your rate. If you interrupt the continuity required to maintain a particular level, you can continue earning, but you may lose the additional percentage associated with that level.
Can I use any computer with OwnBlock Earn?
You can use any computer with a CPU that is compatible with RandomX and the software required to connect to OwnBlock Earn.
We recommend using only equipment that you own or that you have explicit permission to use for this purpose.
Can I connect multiple computers to OwnBlock Earn?
Yes. You can connect as many computers as you wish, provided that you are authorised to use them and they meet the technical requirements of OwnBlock Earn.
If you manage a large number of computers, you can use XMRig Proxy to consolidate their connections and establish a single connection to our servers. Using XMRig Proxy is optional.
